Setting our Mission and Defining our Values...who's with us?

Moxie Salon has undergone significant changes in the past six and a half months since our takeover. One of the most notable changes has been our shift in operational format. Previously, we operated as a "booth rental only" salon, but we have now transitioned to a team-focused, commission-based salon model. This decision was driven by a desire to address the confusion surrounding pricing for our guests, as well as the lack of synergy among our stylists due to a lack of defined common goals.

With our previous setup, guests often experienced inconsistent pricing, results, and an overall atmosphere that did not align with our Mission or Values. As a result, we made the decision to implement a new model that not only meets the growing demand for our services but also caters to the changing needs of the Leland community. This includes offering more current, cutting-edge hairstyles, color techniques, and application methods along with the addition of an esthetician to our team for facial treatments and waxing!

While this transition has been exciting, it has also led to some staff changes. Some of our former stylists have chosen not to follow our long-term vision and grow with us in our new niche. While it saddens us to part ways with a few familiar faces, we recognize that the beauty industry offers many opportunities for talented individuals, and we are glad to see our former stylists finding new homes.

Our staff are now more connected to our Mission, working together as a team and we remain committed to providing you with the exceptional service and experience you have come to expect at Moxie. We appreciate your trust and continued support!
